You'll dive with sharks of several species, and thou shalt make dives, wrecks, caves and reefs teeming with wildlife.
On this diving trip we will not only be accompanied by Karlos Simon, shark expert, but also by Miguel Lozano, professional freediver and double world runner-up in the disciplines of constant weight without fins and free diving.
Both will give different workshops on how to dive with sharks and freediving.

– Umkomaas is a small coastal town located in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, in South Africa. This charming town is famous for its vibrant marine life and its outstanding location for diving, especially in the world-renowned Aliwal Shoal, one of the best dive sites in the country.
WHAT WILL BE OUR ITINERARY?
Day 21: Departure flight.
Day 22: Arrival at King Shaka International Airport - Durban. Transfer and overnight at the Resort.
Day 23: Three dives at Aliwal Shoal and workshops on sharks and freediving.
Day 24: Three dives at Aliwal Shoal and workshops on sharks and freediving.
Day 25: Three dives at Aliwal Shoal and workshops on sharks and freediving.
Day 26: Three dives at Aliwal Shoal and workshops on sharks and freediving.

TRIP CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT
- You can cancel the trip without penalty up to 120 days before departure of the flight.
- If you cancel between 119 and 60 days before departure of the flight, the penalty will be 50% of the total trip.
- If you cancel within 59 days before departure of the flight, the penalty will be 100% of the trip.

Preguntas frecuentes sobre el viaje de buceo a Sudáfrica
Este viaje está pensado para buceadores certificados a partir de Open Water. No es necesario tener un nivel avanzado, pero sí sentirse cómodo en el mar y tener algo de experiencia previa, ya que bucearemos en zonas con corriente y fauna de gran tamaño, incluyendo tiburones.
In Aliwal Shoal es habitual encontrarse con tiburones toro, tiburones raggies y tiburones puntas negras oceánicos. Todos los encuentros se producen en libertad, sin jaula, y en condiciones controladas por guías expertos.
Realizaremos inmersiones desde embarcación saliendo desde un río cercano al centro de buceo. El arrecife ofrece paredes, cuevas, formaciones volcánicas y posibles visitas a pecios. Es una zona muy rica en vida marina y uno de los mejores lugares del mundo para el buceo con tiburones.
Puedes llevar tu equipo completo o alquilar parte del material en el centro de buceo local. Es recomendable llevar ordenador de buceo, traje de neopreno largo, máscara, regulador y aletas, aunque te daremos un listado detallado al momento de la reserva.
El viaje incluye un safari terrestre en 4×4 en el Parque iSimangaliso, donde podremos ver animales como leones, elefantes, rinocerontes o cebras. También realizaremos un crucero fluvial al atardecer para observar hipopótamos y cocodrilos en su entorno natural.
¡Por supuesto! Muchos de nuestros viajeros vienen solos. Formarás parte de un grupo pequeño y afín, y te ayudaremos a compartir habitación si lo deseas para reducir costes. Este es un viaje ideal para conocer a otros buceadores apasionados como tú.
Sí, puedes alquilar lo que necesites. Al hacer la reserva podrás solicitar el alquiler de regulador, jacket, traje, plomos, etc.
Tú eliges: podemos ayudarte a gestionar los vuelos o indicarte el itinerario exacto que sigue el grupo para que puedas reservar por tu cuenta. Recomendamos llegar al aeropuerto de Durban (King Shaka) el día previsto y, si es posible, volar con el resto del grupo para mayor comodidad.
